Shipping & Delivery

At Matchadew, we take great care in packaging and delivering our premium Japanese matcha and accessories. Every order is freshly packed in airtight, light-protective packaging to preserve the vibrant color, aroma, and nutritional integrity of our matcha from our facility to your door.

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays) after we receive your confirmed payment. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout and a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your package has been dispatched.

During peak seasons (holidays, promotional events), processing times may extend by an additional 1–2 business days. We appreciate your patience during these periods.

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. Express options are available for select destinations.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package in real time. Please allow up to 48 hours after receiving the shipping confirmation for tracking information to update in the carrier's system.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders, your package may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.

Matchadew is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees incurred upon delivery. We recommend contacting your local customs office for information regarding potential charges before placing your order.

Shipping Restrictions

Due to food import regulations, we are currently unable to ship matcha powder to the following regions: Brazil, South Africa, and certain Middle Eastern territories. Accessories (bowls, whisks, cups) can be shipped to all destinations. If you are unsure whether we ship to your location, please contact us before ordering.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping. If a package is unclaimed or refused at the delivery address, Matchadew reserves the right to deduct the original and return shipping costs from any issued refund.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at support@matchadew.com within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, reship your order or issue a refund.

Perishable Product Handling

Matcha is a natural, light-sensitive product. Our packaging is specifically designed to protect against heat, moisture, and UV exposure during transit. During warmer months, we may include additional insulation for shipments to regions experiencing high temperatures. Once delivered, we recommend storing your matcha in a cool, dark place or refrigerator for optimal freshness.
